The Sound house is the cutest cottage we have available. It has a fascinating history, as the term "sound" refers to a fish's swim bladder. Commercially, these bladders were dried and processed into a gelatinous material called "isinglas" which was then used as a filter for wine and other liquids. Our ancestors would cut the fish and hang them out to dry in this small cottage. Nowadays the fish smell is gone and there is a charming studio room, with a galley kitchen and one of the best views of the ocean in town. It’s the perfect romantic getaway for two.
